This Semiconductive XLPE Shield Compound is a specially formulated cable manufacturing compound designed for the production of reliable Medium Voltage (MV) and High Voltage Power Cables up to 35kV. As an essential component, it forms the smooth inner semiconductor shield and insulation shield layers in XLPE insulated cables, ensuring uniform electrical field distribution and preventing harmful partial discharges.
The compound is a crosslinkable semicon based on a conductive polymer compound with optimized carbon black dispersion. It provides excellent compatibility with TR-XLPE insulation, creating a flawless interface that minimizes contamination and enhances the long-term performance of underground, industrial, and substation cables. It is made of high quality EVA resin, conductive black carbon as the main material, adding cross-linking agent, antioxidant and other additives; mixed granulation and fabrication process is stable and reliable in quality.
Application: Shielding material of 35kV crosslinkable polyethylene insulated cable conductor; Maximum working temperature is 90C.

Recommend for polyethylene specific extruder. Draw ratio is from 18:1 to 25:1 and other equipment need to be adjusted according to the circumstance. Recommend to use 60 to 80 type wire mesh filter.
